they really don't make as much purple clothing for girls as you would think. boys' clothing is split pretty much down the middle between blue and green, but girls' clothing is predominately pink. that's just one of the things that makes this sweater special, the other being that it was a gift from her aunt jess. so in honor of aunt jess and jessica wakefield, maeby is representing the unicorn club.
